WHEN TO MEDITATE
Meditation is the process of practicing for at least thrice a day– early morning, day time and before going to bed. Each sitting must be at least of 20-30 minutes. One sitting is not sufficient to achieve the goal.
The most suitable time is very early in the morning, an hour or two before sunrise. It is the best and most auspicious time to be with the Lord within. At this time, the mind is fresh after a night’s sleep with a natural flow towards God. The external environment, being calm and pure, is also helpful. It is best to sit for meditation after the movement of the bowels, cleansing of the tongue and washing of the face. It is not necessary to take a bath before meditation.
